Build any padel tournament format you can imagine
The Tournament Builder turns a handful of rules into a complete, automatically generated tournament. Run any built-in format — Americano, Mexicano, Knockout, World Cup, Beat the Box — as a phase, chain phases together, and play the result exactly like any native format.

What is the Tournament Builder?
Every format in Padel Fast is really just a set of rules the generator engine follows to create rounds, pair players and rank results. The Tournament Builder hands you those same rules. You describe who is competing, how they are ranked, and the phases they play through — and the engine does the rest: pairings, schedules, standings, brackets and live scoring, on the web and in the app.
- A build is a reusable format you design once and run as many times as you like.
- Every phase is one of the real built-in formats, so it plays with the exact courts, pairings and guarantees you already know — or a group stage, bracket or hand-written grid of your own.
- Tournaments run on a frozen copy of the rules, so editing a build never disturbs events already under way.
How it works
A build is made of four simple decisions. Get them right and the engine generates everything else.
Set the field
Choose whether people compete as individual players or fixed teams, and the minimum and maximum number of entries your format supports — from 4 players up to 200 entries.
Choose how it is ranked
Rank by points scored, by wins, or with a league-style match-points table (for example 3 for a win, 1 for a draw). Ranking drives seeding, advancement and regrouping.
Compose the phases
Stack up to five phases that play in order — any built-in format, a group stage, a bracket or a custom grid — and decide how many entries advance from one to the next.
Publish, run and share
Save it privately to run yourself, or publish it to the community so anyone can use it. Every tournament started from a build is counted, so the best formats rise to the top.
The building blocks
Four ingredients combine into any format.
Participants
Individual players who are re-paired each round, or fixed pairs that stay together the whole way through. Set the entry bounds and the engine adapts the schedule to whoever signs up.
Ranking
Points scored, win count, or a configurable match-points table. The scoreboard it produces is what seeds draws, decides who advances and re-forms the courts.
Phases
One to five stages played in order, each a format of its own. Run a Mexicano into a knockout, or a group stage into a plate bracket — each phase carries the format's own options.
Advancing
Between phases, carry forward the top of the standings or only the round winners — overall, or a set number from every group for a World-Cup-style bracket.
Any format as a phase
A phase is one of the real formats, run on the entries that reached it. Three builder-only kinds cover what no built-in does.
Format
Built-inAmericano, Mexicano, Knockout, World Cup, Winning Lane, Beat the Box, Club Clash, Social mix — every round-generating format is available as a phase, with its own options and the same engine behind it.
- The exact courts, pairings and guarantees of the built-in
- Per-phase options: opening rounds, seeding, pairing, group settings
- Open-ended formats run for a set number of rounds before the next phase
Group stage
TeamsA round robin inside the groups you set up in the lobby, or across two groups — any group sizes, with the top of every group advancing.
- Within groups or across two groups
- Advance the top of every group
- Packed onto your courts like a built-in schedule
Bracket
EliminationSingle elimination with seeding by standings, your choice of how players pair up, optional re-pairing of the survivors, or a consolation bracket so no one is out after a single match.
- Seeded or random draw with byes placed fairly
- Keep pairs together, or re-pair survivors every round
- Optional consolation (plate) bracket for first-round losers
Custom schedule
Hand-writtenWrite the match grid yourself, seat by seat, for a fixed number of entries — the escape hatch for a schedule nothing else expresses.
- Seats are positions in the seeded entry list
- Any number of rounds, played exactly as written
- Seed the list by draw, standings or registration
See it in action
Every example is a real build: the same rules the engine runs, drawn the way the builder's canvas draws them. Pick one to follow its phases from sign-up to the final standings.

Classic Americano
Individuals rotate partners and opponents every round, scoring for themselves. The friendliest social format there is.
Recreate every built-in — or invent your own
Every round-generating format is available as a phase, so a build can be any built-in — or chain several:
- Americano
- Americano Mix
- Mexicano
- Mexicano Mix
- Round Robin
- Knockout
- World Cup
- Winning Lane
- Beat the Box
- Club Clash
- Social mix
The one exception is the challenge-driven Ladder, which is an ongoing competition rather than a generated tournament.
Keep it private, or share it with the community
Every build starts private — visible only to you, ready to tweak and run. Publish it and it joins the community catalog, where anyone can browse it, save a copy into their own Builder, and run it. Builds are ranked by how often they are used, so the formats people love rise to the top.
- Private drafts to design and test your format before anyone sees it
- One click to publish to the community — or unpublish again
- Save any community build as your own private copy to customise
Design your first format
The Tournament Builder is included with the Pro Manager and Pro Club subscriptions. Upgrade to design custom formats and run them like any built-in.
